Work Location: O'Connor Plumbing services clients throughout the DMV area (Maryland, Washington, DC, and Northern Virginia). Technicians are dispatched directly from home and travel to assigned job sites within the region. Candidates must be willing to commute, travel, or relocate as needed. Relocation assistance may be available for qualified candidates.


Pay: $35.00 - $55.00 per hour (Plus Overtime & Performance Incentives)

What You’ll Do (Essential Duties)
  • Diagnose & Repair: Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair complex commercial plumbing systems, including commercial water heaters, booster pumps, sanitary drainage, storm systems, and gas lines.
  • Advanced Equipment Operation: Utilize modern diagnostic tools, camera inspection equipment, and hydro-jetting machinery to resolve commercial main-line blockages.
  • Blueprint & Schematics: Read and interpret commercial blueprints, building codes, and mechanical schematics to execute precise repairs.
  • Leadership: Act as a field mentor, leading and developing plumbing apprentices to foster future advancement within the company.
  • Digital Documentation: Accurately document service calls, materials used, and work completed via company-issued iPad/iPhone software.
  • Safety Compliance: Maintain strict compliance with OSHA guidelines, local plumbing codes, and company safety procedures.
What You Bring (Requirements)
  • Experience: Proven field experience in commercial plumbing service, maintenance, and heavy commercial diagnostics.
  • Licensing: Valid Journeyman or Master Plumber License preferred (highly compensated), or equivalent verifiable field experience.
  • Skills: Strong proficiency in soldering, brazing, pipefitting (copper, PVC, cast iron, black iron), and reading blueprints.
  • Customer Service: Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical plumbing solutions to commercial property managers and building engineers.
  • Credentials: Valid driver's license with a clean, insurable driving record. Must be able to pass standard background and drug screenings.
