About the Role

At Mr. Rooter Plumbing, we don’t just fix pipes—we solve problems from start to finish. As a Plumber’s Helper / General Laborer, you’ll play a critical role supporting our underground and excavation team, helping deliver complete plumbing solutions to our customers.

This is a hands-on, physical position for someone who takes pride in hard work, shows up every day ready to go, and wants to build a long-term career in the trades.


What You’ll Do

  • Assist with excavation and underground plumbing projects
  • Operate basic tools and equipment (shovels, compactors, etc.)
  • Dig, backfill, and support trenching operations
  • Load/unload materials and maintain job site organization
  • Support pipe repairs, sewer replacements, and trenchless prep work
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient work environment
  • Work alongside experienced plumbers and technicians to learn the trade
