Position Description
CSUSA Mid South. is currently seeking a licensed, highly skilled, motivated, and ethical and safety-oriented Journeyman Plumber. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 4 years of Plumbing experience in commercial construction. The successful candidate must have an active State of Alabama Journeyman Plumbers License. Qualified candidate must have the ability to plan, layout and install all drain systems, domestic water systems, natural gas systems, install plumbing fixtures, water heaters, kitchen equipment & elevator sump pumps.
Key Responsibilities
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and design related to plumbing systems
  • Cooperate with other trades on the project to complete the project
  • Demonstrate strong working knowledge of job site safety
  • Uphold a high standard of integrity and professionalism
  • Maintain working knowledge of all hand and power tools
  • Perform preventive maintenance, site surveys, replacement, and modifications as needed or requested by customers
  • Prepare for on-site installation and repairs by examining building layout, anticipating difficulties, gathering materials, and coordinating on-site work as necessary
  • Interact with customers and document work by completing paperwork on each job and maintaining files
  • Keep current on all manufacturers' products concerning installation, operation, maintenance, service, and repair
  • Demonstrate flexibility to work overtime/weekends, as required
  • Participate in a rotating emergency on-call program
Requirements
  • Valid Alabama Driver's License
  • State of Alabama Journeyman Plumbers License
  • Must possess own hand tools
  • Must be able to pass drug test
