Journeyman Plumber

Western Heating & Air Conditioning’s Veteran’s Plumbing department is looking for an experienced Journeyman Plumber!

Job Description:

The Journeyman Plumber is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing plumbing systems in accordance with local and national plumbing codes. This role requires a high level of skill, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or lead a small team of apprentices. The ideal candidate is experienced, safety-conscious, and capable of interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to ensure proper installation and functionality of plumbing systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems, including water supply lines, fixtures, and drainage systems
  • Diagnose and resolve plumbing issues efficiently and accurately
  • Operate plumbing tools and equipment such as pipe threaders, soldering tools, and drain cleaning machines
  • Ensure all work meets local plumbing codes, safety regulations, and company standards
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with customers and team members
  • Document work performed, materials used, and any recommendations for future service
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work area and appearance
  • Provide excellent customer service and represent the company with integrity

Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of plumbing experience
  • Idaho Journeyman's license
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Good communication and customer service skills
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical work
