Tec Centro Capital Region is a workforce development center in Midtown Harrisburg dedicated to preparing adults for careers in high-demand skilled trades. With newly built, state-of-the-art training facilities, they deliver hands-on programs in plumbing, HVAC, facilities maintenance, and electromechanical systems.

They are seeking a skilled and passionate Plumbing Instructor to help train the next generation of trades professionals. This is an ideal opportunity for an experienced plumber who wants to give back, mentor others, and make a real impact in the community.

What You’ll Do
Hands-On Instruction & Curriculum Delivery
  • Deliver engaging, hands-on plumbing instruction (residential & light commercial)
  • Teach core topics including pipe systems, installation, troubleshooting, and code compliance
  • Develop lesson plans, lab exercises, and assessments aligned with industry standards
  • Adapt instruction to meet the needs of adult learners with varying experience levels
  • Track student progress and provide coaching, feedback, and remediation
Required Qualifications
 
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Minimum 4+ years of hands-on plumbing experience
  • Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, tools, safety practices, and codes
