Western Smokehouse Partners is looking for a Maintenance Technician.

The Maintenance Technician supports the daily maintenance operations of the facility byassistingin the repair, upkeep, and preventive maintenance of equipment and building systems. Under the supervision of the MaintenanceManager, this role helps install andmaintainheating, cooling, plumbing, and electrical systems. The Maintenance Technician is also responsible for basic facility upkeep both inside and outside of the building and plays a critical role in ensuring minimal downtime in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Essential Duties

  • Assistwith installation, maintenance, and repairs of facility HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.

  • Support troubleshooting and repair of production equipment and machinery.

  • Perform basic carpentry, painting, and plumbing tasks as assigned.

  • Complete preventative maintenance tasks according to scheduled timelines.

  • Inspect and replace worn or damaged parts using hand and power tools.

  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of maintenance tools,shop, and storage areas.

  • Respond to maintenance requests or breakdowns during production shiftsin a timely manner.

  • Document allrepairs,and maintenance performed onappropriate logsor work order systems.

  • Monitor facility grounds andassistwith snow removal, lawn care, and general exterior upkeep.

  • Support compliance with company safety policies, lockout/tagout procedures, and OSHA standards.

  • Assistin the setup and teardown of production equipment for shift changes or newproductruns.

  • Participate in facility inspections and audits as needed.

  • Communicate effectively with production and QA teams to minimize disruption during maintenance work.

  • Assistwith inventory control of maintenance supplies and parts.

  • Perform other duties as assigned by MaintenanceManageror Supervisor.

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.

  • 1+yearof experience in industrial maintenance, facility maintenance, or related field.

  • Basic knowledge of mechanical, electrical, HVAC, and plumbing systems.

  • Ability to safely use hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment.

  • Willingness to learn and follow established safety and maintenance protocols.

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work both independently and in a team setting.

  • Basic computer or tablet skills for work order completion and documentation.

Physical Demands and Work Environment

  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, andlift upto 50 lbs. regularly.

  • Work is performed in a manufacturing environment with exposure to varying temperatures, noise, and machinery.

  • Mustbe able to climb ladders and work at heights when necessary.

  • Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) must be worn asrequired.

  • Occasional exposure to cleaning chemicals, grease, dust, and outdoor elements.
