Position Summary:
Baucom Plumbing a trusted, family-owned company serving Union County since 1981, is seeking skilled plumbers to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on plumbing experience, strong problem-solving skills, and a commitment to quality workmanship. This role involves installation, maintenance, and repair of Commercial Plumbing Systems. Residential plumbing experience is a plus.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Install, maintain, and repair water supply lines, drain systems, gas piping, and plumbing fixtures
  • Troubleshoot plumbing issues and provide effective solutions
  • Read and interpret blueprints, technical diagrams, and specifications
  • Work with various materials (copper, PVC, cast iron, PEX, etc.)
  • Ensure all work meets local and state plumbing codes
  • Operate and maintain basic plumbing tools and equipment safely
  • Communicate with customers in a professional and courteous manner
  • Maintain clean and organized work areas on job sites
Qualifications:
  • Minimum 2-3 years of Commercial Plumbing experience (apprenticeship or journeyman level)
  • Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, codes, and installation techniques
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs regularly and work in physically demanding environments (bending, kneeling, climbing ladders, working in tight spaces)
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
