Plumber contractors are licensed professionals who install, repair, and maintain piping systems, fixtures, and other plumbing equipment in residential, commercial, or industrial settings. They often manage plumbing projects, oversee teams of plumbers, and ensure that all work complies with local building codes and safety regulations. Plumber contractors may also provide cost estimates, obtain necessary permits, and coordinate with other contractors on larger construction projects.

What is the difference between a contractor and a plumber?

A plumber is a skilled tradesperson who installs, repairs, and maintains plumbing systems, often working directly on projects. A contractor, such as a plumbing contractor, manages and oversees plumbing projects, coordinates workers, and ensures work meets codes and standards; contractors typically hold licenses and may hire plumbers to perform specific tasks.
