Development & Communications Manager

The League is seeking a dedicated, hard-working and self-motivated Development & Communications Manager. The ideal candidate should have a strong work-ethic, excellent problem-solving skills, and be motivated to serve our community.  Prefer a qualified person with a disability.

Working with the Director of Philanthropy, The Leadership Team, and other staff the position will:

         Lead or support:

o   special fundraising events,

o   planned stewardship activities,

o   semi-annual appeals,

o   annual giving opportunities,

o   event sponsorship collateral.

         Assist in the development, implementation and maintenance of The League's Annual Marketing and Development Plans.

         Assist in developing The League's Annual Report content.

         Manage donor database and is responsible for timely acknowledgements and reports.

         Manage The League's social media pages, website, newsletter, and email blasts.

         Collaborate with departments to design creative marketing collateral while maintaining stock of brochures and other printed collateral.

         Identify, cultivate and secure community partners to engage in the organization's mission.

         Bachelor's degree in related fields or an equivalent combination of education and experience.  Experience managing WYSIWYG/plug & play websites and social media is required (2 years+). Experience in planning and executing fundraising events is required (2 years+). Experience working with Canva, Adobe Suite or similar design programs preferred (2 years+). 

         Prefer a qualified person with a disability (preference as identified by state/federal funding source).
