We are currently seeking an E-Tech (Electronics Technician) for our Union City, Oklahoma location.
PURPOSE:
Performs physical tasks in the shop, warehouse, or field [with exposure to inclement weather] in support of operations including, but not limited to: inspection, repairs, and maintenance of equipment, troubleshooting, interpretation of equipment manuals, and training/mentoring.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILTIES:
  • Provides emergency/unscheduled repairs of equipment; reviews equipment status with operational personnel and troubleshoots tool or surface equipment issues when required
  • Maintains cased-hole wireline logging equipment consisting of downhole tools, surface panels, and computers; keeps service and maintenance records of equipment
  • Troubleshoots circuit boards and components used in downhole tools and surface equipment
  • Reads and interprets equipment manuals, circuit and mechanical drawings and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
  • Performs mechanical maintenance of downhole tools and surface equipment.
  • Creates preventive maintenance schedule.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: Associate's Degree
Degree Field (s): Electronics Technology or related discipline*
Work Experience: 4-6 years
Related Experience:
  • Associate's Degree or *equivalent relevant wireline technician experience or electronics technology experience
  • Mechanical skills should include, but are not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic troubleshooting.
  • Valid driver's license with acceptable driving history

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: Bachelor's Degree
Degree Field (s): Electronics Technology or related technical discipline
Work Experience: 10+ years
Related Experience:
  • Completion of all current HSE certifications
  • Expert knowledge and utilization of tools and equipment in cased-hole operations.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Precise hand/eye coordination: Constantly
Basic keyboarding or other repetitive motions: Frequently
Operation of heavy equipment or operation of vehicles: Occasionally
Lifting/pushing objects weighing over: 50 lbs: Frequently
