Job Description
ESSENTIAL
  • Manage & define processes, capabilities delivered on the Aras Platform to meet customer requirements, Configuration/ customization of PLM. Adapt to developing solutions in consistent with an "Out of the Box" approach.
  • Ensure delivery aligns with approved scope, timeline, and quality standards, Lead end-to-end project execution for planned PLM implementation phases
  • Coordinate activities with business, IT teams,ERP team, Aras implementation partners and vendors and extended IT to roll out solutions and provide resolutions to issues found during production rollout
  • Participate in and lead business requirements, document process re-engineering steps driving technical solutions.
  • Review, categorize, and prioritize escalated customer product-related issues from Engineering/impl partner teams.
  • Evaluate engineering processes, map functions to appropriate software, propose, develop, and implement solutions.
  • Collaborating with other team leads, Engineers, third party software consultants, and ITS application owners in one or more phases of Project Planning, Requirements Development, Design, Build, Test and Maintenance.
  • Responsibilities include managing & coordinating global teams, transforming customer requirements & deployments.
  • Manage the impact of proposed solutions on downstream applications, integrations, business processes, and other related application services.
  • Validate proposed solutions developed internally or in coordination with vendors and further propose them to the internal IT team, Enterprise architecture review board, IT Info Security, Data Governance and business SMEs to get consensus and sign-offs.
  • Develop and Manage project plans, schedules, milestones, dependencies, risks, and issues
  • Champion Aras portfolio solution offers from a functional point of view and evaluate them for potential solutions to business user problems or IT application needs and design integration as a manager and develop new solutions.
  • Develop standard methodologies for system maintenance and application development for the PLM IT team.
  • Demonstrable experience guiding and educating SMEs in relation to ARAS and platform capabilities is an advantage.
  • Oversee Aras Innovator configs, ensuring configuration-over-customization principles as per governance policies
  • Coordinate system integrations with CAD, ERP (and other identified data systems as needed)
  • Support SaaS deployment readiness, including security, access, and compliance requirements
  • Work closely with Scrum Masters to align Agile delivery with enterprise milestones
  • Manage dependencies across Agile teams and traditional project activities
  • Leading ongoing reviews of processes and developing optimization strategies, collaborating with stakeholders (such as SMEs, engineers) on requirements, technical insights, and drive consensus on system Manage decisions.
  • Drive technological & organizational transformation demonstrated ability to creatively solve problems for users.
  • Review the impact of proposed solutions on downstream applications, application integrations, business processes, and other related application services.
  • Collaborate & lead design discussions with the development team to design and Architect solutions for software applications, systems, and/or data integration level using standard processes and Aras configuration guidelines.
  • Develop application testing strategies, code review processes, and guide the development team with unit, integration, and end-to-end process test-case development.
  • Continuous Improvement to Promote DevOps, CI/CD best practices, and agile methodologies for PLM deployments.
  • Have a thorough understanding of large-scale enterprise application deployment methodologies Agile environment

Qualifications
Qualifications:
Required
  • BS/MS in Engineering or ME, EE, IE with software programming skills.
  • 10 -12+ years of PLM Implementation, project management experience in enterprise technology scale
  • 4+ years leading and managing specifically Aras PLM engineering systems, or complex SaaS implementations
  • Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team (across business, engineering, IT, and solution providers)
  • Proficiency in Aras Innovator functional areas like Part, Change, CAD and BOM Management etc.
  • Good functional knowledge of Aras SaaS platform with latest versions of the software.
  • Strong project management skills and discipline (scope, schedule, risk, issue management)
  • Excellent stakeholder communication and coordination skills
  • Familiarity with PLM concepts (configuration, workflows, data governance)
  • Experience with CAD Integrations, enterprise (ERP) integrations and SaaS platforms deployments

Preferred
  • Awareness of IT security and compliance considerations
  • Good working knowledge with project management tools and ALM tools like JIRA, Confluence.

Working Conditions
This position is considered OFFICE WORK which is characterized as follows.
  • Almost exclusively indoors during the day and occasionally at night
  • Occasional exposure to airborne dust in the workplace
  • Work surface is stable (flat)
