Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Automation Test Engineer with strong hands on experience in test automation framework design and development. The ideal candidate will have strong programming skills in Java or Python, experience with modern automation frameworks, and a solid understanding of Agile, SDLC, and CI/CD practices.

The candidate will be responsible for designing and maintaining scalable automation frameworks, developing automated test scripts, executing regression testing, analyzing test results, and driving quality improvements across automation design, development, and execution. Experience leveraging AI tools such as Copilot and Cursor for test automation and code generation is also desired.

Required Skills
  • 5 to 7 years of experience in test automation framework design and development
  • Strong programming skills in Java, Python, or similar programming languages
  • Hands on experience with Selenium, Playwright, Cucumber/BDD, and REST Assured
  • Solid understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines
  • Familiarity with AI tools such as GitHub Copilot and Cursor for test automation and code generation
  • Experience with Git version control systems such as Bitbucket and GitHub
  • Experience with defect tracking and test management tools such as Jira and Azure DevOps
  • Knowledge of SQL for test data management and database validation
  • Strong understanding of automated testing practices and framework development
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Skills
  • Strong experience with Java, Selenium, and Maven
