Who You Are

We're hiring a Head of Sales (Player-Coach) | Electrical Distribution to lead the next phase of our commercial growth.

This is not a traditional executive leadership position. It is a hands-on leadership opportunity for someone who thrives on coaching people, improving execution, solving problems, and leading from the front.

You'll work directly with an established team of approximately eight Inside and Outside Sales professionals, partnering closely with the CEO and cross-functional leaders to strengthen customer relationships, improve commercial performance, and develop the next generation of sales leaders.

How You'll Make an Impact

Lead & Develop Great People

  • Coach, mentor, and develop our Inside and Outside Sales professionals.
  • Recruit, hire, onboard, and retain high-performing sales talent.
  • Develop future sales leaders through coaching, performance management, succession planning, and ongoing career development.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, continuous learning, and customer focus.

Build a High-Performing Sales Organization

  • Improve forecasting accuracy, pipeline discipline, and sales execution.
  • Standardize sales processes, operating rhythms, and performance expectations that support scalable growth.
  • Establish measurable sales metrics and coach the team to consistently achieve them.
  •  Create consistency across account management, opportunity management, and customer engagement.

Drive Profitable Growth

  • Strengthen relationships with key customers while supporting strategic growthopportunities.
  • Partner closely with Purchasing, Operations, Marketing, Customer Service, and
  • Leadership to deliver an exceptional customer experience.
  • Remain actively engaged with customers and strategic opportunities while supporting the sales team in winning new business and expanding existing relationships.

  • Champion practical technology and AI tools that simplify work, improve productivity, and help sales professionals spend more time serving customers.
  • Drive CRM adoption, forecasting discipline, and commercial analytics.Continuously identify opportunities to improve efficiency, collaboration, and execution across the sales organization.
