YOUR MISSION (The Job Description)
The Sr. Analyst will play an important role in conducting and supervising the research and analysis of property gaming and casino marketing operations to provide extensive details, summaries, and recommendations to all levels of company management. Interprets results of player ad offer segmentation, including tests and controls, and presents recommendations to enhance marketing program results. Provides analysis and recommendations that introduce new opportunities for revenue generation, and cost reduction. Partners with gaming operations to assist in reviewing floor performance and provide data and analytical support to evaluate slot and table game changes inclusive of staffing, hours of operations, and game configurations. Also partners with player development team in setting and monitoring host performance goals.
THE NITTY-GRITTY (The Essential Job Duties)
  • Design, maintain and review performance tracking for casino marketing offers and promotions with actionable recommendations
  • Identify trends and developments in rated player segments and report findings and recommendations to executive team
  • Cooperate with all departments during annual budget preparation by providing historical data, departmental budget templates, and development of gross gaming revenue targets
  • Responsible for various ad hoc analyses and development of recommendations for casino marketing offers and promotions, slot and table games performance, and player development.
  • Prepares monthly reports on all aspects of the operation including, but not limited to, Slot Reports, Table Games Reports, and Casino Marketing Reports
  • Observes and monitors operating results to determine business trends
  • Performs ad hoc analyses based on operational trends, economic trends or competitive developments, when necessary
  • Performs gaming analyses on current floor performance, evaluation of slot capital purchases, and table games labor efficiency
  • Communicates on a regular basis with various operating departments regarding current trends, issues and opportunities within their operating disciplines
  • Perform other duties as assigned

  • Must be proficient with Windows PC software with emphasis SQL and data visualization and reporting platforms
  • Must have good presentation skills, attention to detail and be able to effectively handle multiple projects concurrently
  • Must possess analytical skills to identify statistical trends and anomalies

WOULD BE NICE TO HAVE'S
  • Bachelors' Degree in Economics, Accounting, Finance, Business Management, or a related field
  • At least two years of analytical experience preferably in a high volume, complex casino environment
  • Must have a strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Prior experience with Casino Management support software for both gaming and marketing
  • Oracle Netsuite experience preferred

  • Must be able to work various shifts and flexible hours to observe operations of the business which span 24 hours and 7 days per week
