GOLF ADMINISTRATION - INSTRUCTOR 1

The Golf Instructor 1 assists the Columbia Association General Manager of Golf and the Director of Instruction to manage player development. All duties of the position shall be performed with a commitment to the highest level of customer service and total satisfaction of all guests. 

Promotes golf and responds to customer and guest needs to increase their enjoyment while at Fairway Hills & Hobbit’s Glen Golf Club. Committed to ensuring all members and guests receive the best service and always with a customer friendly attitude within the Sport and Fitness Division.

  • The major responsibility in this position is player development through Get Golf Ready and Rec and Parks golf classes. and give personal instruction when not engaged in other aspects of the golf instruction program. 
  • Assist in Player Development programs using PGA and LPGA tools and resources. 
  • Perform all duties in accordance with the Columbia Association mission, vision, and values  
  • Stay updated regarding information and developments in both the golf division and across the Columbia Association 
  • Promote a hospitable environment by greeting everyone with a smile and practicing Columbia Association’s 6/12 rule. 
  • Achieve a working knowledge of Columbia Association and the Golf Club’s vision and mission statements and General Plan.  
  • Additionally Assisting General Manager in creating a friendly, service-oriented culture and atmosphere at the club
  • Assisting General Manager in the general Promotion & Marketing of the golf program at the club
  • Monitors activities of people using golf course facilities to ensure that golf rules are followed. 

The pay range for this position is $28.08 to $35.10. The actual pay rate offered will depend on the overall qualifications of the individual applicant for the position and the amount budgeted for the role.
