Job description

Operations Manager โ€“ Healthcare Staffing

Location: New York Preferred - Remote for the right candidate
Salary: $60,000โ€“$70,000 Base Salary
Company: ATC Healthcare Services

Position Summary

ATC Healthcare Services is seeking a highly organized, tech-savvy Operations Manager to support the day-to-day administrative operations of our healthcare staffing business.

This is a hands-on role for someone who knows how staffing works behind the scenes and enjoys keeping all the moving pieces organized. The ideal candidate is a jack of all trades who can manage systems, stay on top of orders and deadlines, troubleshoot issues, and make sure nothing falls through the cracks.

This position will work closely with recruiting, credentialing, payroll, and leadership to keep our operations running efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and monitor VMS systems and client orders
  • Handle job management, data entry, and operational follow-up
  • Support credentialing and onboarding workflows
  • Assist with payroll, timekeeping issues, and administrative troubleshooting
  • Monitor deadlines, compliance requirements, documentation, and outstanding items
  • Coordinate internally between recruiting, credentialing, payroll, and leadership
  • Maintain accurate information across staffing systems and internal trackers
  • Identify gaps or issues and follow through until they are resolved
  • Take ownership of miscellaneous operational projects, administrative needs, and problems
  • Help improve processes and create greater efficiency across day-to-day operations
What We're Looking For
  • Healthcare staffing experience strongly preferred
  • Staffing technology experience required
  • Experience working within VMS platforms and staffing systems
  • Strong understanding of the administrative lifecycle of healthcare staffing
  • Extremely organized with exceptional attention to detail
  • Tech-savvy and comfortable learning and navigating multiple systems
  • Able to manage competing priorities and quickly shift gears when needed
  • Strong problem-solving and follow-through skills
  • Comfortable working independently and taking ownership of responsibilities
  • Collaborative and able to communicate effectively across multiple departments
The Person Who Will Thrive in This Role

You don't need someone standing over your shoulder telling you what needs to happen next. You notice the missing piece, track down the answer, update the system, follow up with the right person, and keep things moving.

If you're the person who loves bringing order to the controlled chaos of healthcare staffing, we want to hear from you.

Equal Opportunity Employer: ATC Healthcare Services is an Equal Opportunity Employer. All applicants will be considered for employment without regards to race, color, religion, age, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, veteran or disability status or any other category protected by Federal, State or local law.
