Job Summary
The Associate Digital Platform Manager - Marketing Technology helps align marketing strategy with scalable technology solutions to drive efficient, data-informed customer engagement. This role supports the evolution of Milwaukee Tool's marketing technology ecosystem by optimizing platform capabilities, advancing lifecycle engagement, and enabling more personalized customer experiences across channels.
Acting as a key bridge between Marketing, Digital, Analytics, and IT, this individual helps translate business needs into technical solutions, supports platform prioritization and governance, and drives initiatives from intake through implementation.
Operating at the intersection of marketing, technology, and analytics, this role partners cross-functionally to improve platform performance, strengthen data-driven decision making, and enable modern customer engagement capabilities powered by first-party data.
You'll be DISRUPTIVE through these duties and responsibilities:
  • Translate business needs into technical solutions: Partner with Marketing, IT, Analytics, and external partners to convert business objectives into technical requirements, user stories, workflows, and recommended solutions.

  • Drive initiatives end-to-end: Identify opportunities, gaps, and friction points across systems, data flows, and customer journeys, and help advance solutions from intake through implementation and optimization.

  • Support platform strategy and ownership: Serve as a subject matter expert for the Braze Customer Engagement Platform, contributing to roadmap prioritization, backlog management, governance, and ongoing platform optimization.

  • Leverage data to inform decisions: Analyze behavioral, engagement, and performance data to uncover insights, identify optimization opportunities, and improve marketing and eCommerce experiences.

  • Enable cross-functional execution: Collaborate closely with developers, architects, vendors, and business stakeholders to design, prioritize, and deliver enhancements, integrations, and new platform capabilities.

  • Communicate complex concepts clearly: Abstract technical complexity into clear recommendations, tradeoffs, risks, and action plans that are understandable and actionable across varying levels of technical expertise.

  • Support high-quality delivery: Partner in testing, validation, and launch activities to ensure solutions meet business objectives, quality expectations, and user experience standards.

  • Strengthen platform governance and operational excellence: Help establish scalable processes, documentation standards, QA practices, and governance frameworks that improve consistency, reduce risk, and enable efficient execution across teams and customer engagement initiatives.

  • Advance platform innovation and scalability: Stay informed on emerging technologies, industry trends, and customer engagement capabilities to help improve personalization, orchestration, operational efficiency, and platform scalability.

  • Challenge existing ways of working: Promote a continuous improvement mindset by identifying process inefficiencies, documenting best practices, and helping establish more scalable, agile, and effective operational models.

The TOOLS you'll bring with you:
  • Bachelor's degree in Digital Marketing, Business, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field - or equivalent practical experience

  • 3-5 years of experience working with digital platforms, marketing technology, analytics, or technical systems within a business, product, or marketing environment

  • Experience managing customer engagement, marketing automation, CRM, or digital experience platforms such as Braze, Salesforce, Adobe, or similar technologies

  • Ability to translate business objectives into technical requirements, workflows, and scalable platform solutions

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to leverage data and insights to inform recommendations and optimization opportunities

  • Experience collaborating cross-functionally with technical and non-technical stakeholders, including developers, vendors, marketers, and business teams

  • Strong communication and organizational skills, including the ability to simplify complex concepts, manage competing priorities, and drive initiatives forward

  • Curiosity for emerging technologies, customer engagement trends, and evolving platform capabilities, with a continuous improvement mindset
