Job Title

About your role:

In this senior technical role, you'll play a pivotal part in designing, implementing, and managing automation and systems infrastructure supporting government environments. You'll partner closely with engineering teams and stakeholders to ensure platforms are secure, compliant, highly available, and aligned with both business and government requirements. Our current automation ecosystem includes Ansible Automation Platform (AAP), RunDeck, and Network to Code Nautobot.

What you'll do:

• Support and enhance orchestration and runbookdriven automation with RunDeck
• Leverage Nautobot for network and infrastructure sourceoftruth and automation integrations (including but not limited to SNow CMDB)
• Develop and maintain system documentation, including configurations, operations, and troubleshooting procedures using Confluence
• Monitor system performance and implement tuning and optimization measures
• Drive enterprise automation initiatives using Ansible Automation Platform (AAP)
• Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to integrate new technologies while meeting government security and compliance standards
• Conduct system assessments and implement security controls
• Provide advanced technical guidance and tier3 support to ensure system reliability
• Stay current with trends in platform engineering, automation, and governmentaligned infrastructure

Experience you'll need to have:

• 6+ years of Platform Automation experience
• 5+ years of experience working in an enterprise Windows & Linux environment
• 3+ years of experience with scripting experience with Python, YAML and/or PowerShell
• Understanding of virtualization technologies such as VMware, HyperV, OCP and/or LinuxOne
• 6+ years of an equivalent combination of educational background, related experience, and/or military experience

Experience that would be great to have:

• Experience using RunDeck for orchestration and operational automation
• Experience with Network to Code Nautobot (sourceoftruth, integrations, automation workflows)
• Handson experience with Ansible Automation Platform (AAP)
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP

How you'll work:

• This role is on-site position. Fiserv considers in-person collaboration to be an essential part of this role as in-person office experiences helps you with your overall onboarding experience and lead to stronger productivity
• This role requires use of a computer and audio equipment
