Reach lift operator- $22.00 - $23.65

Schedule: Rotating 12-hour schedule – 2 days on / 2 days off / 3 days on -Enjoy every other weekend off

Shift Options: • Day Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM • Night Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM

Key Responsibilities:

· Accurately completes and records Daily Inspection Checklist for powered industrial trucks; advises

· Maintenance and/or Department Manager/Supervisor when repairs and/or parts are needed for equipment.

· Reviews material requests/work orders or follows verbal instructions to ascertain products or materials to be moved or pulled.

· Utilizing reach truck, stand-up forklift, or other devices, loads, unloads, and transports pre-printed material from the floor racks to other designated work areas, including the warehouse.

· Assists with inventory by placing (receiving)and pulling (manual pull) from the correct inventory location.

· May assist with staging jobs in various work areas, banding skids, and distributing materials as needed.

· Separates production materials and clearly marks with identifying methods for current or future use in production operations.

· May load and unload materials onto pallets, trays, tables, racks, and shelves.

· Notify the appropriate staff when variation in product is found to mitigate production defects and waste.

· Report faulty equipment, damage to racks, and other safety hazards to the department supervisor.

· Observes established safe working and housekeeping procedures.

· Promptly corrects hazardous situations and clears work area of loose wood and plastic.

Skills:

· Ability to communicate clearly, orally and in writing. Ability to understand and apply written and verbal instructions.

· Ability to communicate clearly, orally and in writing. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

· Must be able to work well with others in a team environment.

· Must be able to perform simple mathematical calculations – addition, subtraction, multiplication, division. Push, pull, lift or carry up to as much as 60 pounds occasionally, and up to 25 pounds frequently.

· Must be able to stand for long periods of time in accordance with the required schedule shift.

Education:

· Requires a High School diploma or equivalent.

· Requires a minimum of 2 years of related experience, preferably within a manufacturing or warehouse operations work environment.

· Familiarity with OSHA regulations related to operating a reach truck or forklift truck is preferred. Proficiency in using the intranet, and management information systems (MIS).

· Comprehension skills and ability to operate reach trucks and other related powered lift equipment.

· Possess good mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting forklift equipment issues. Forklift certification license or ability to obtain forklift certification license.
