Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Plastic Surgeon to provide coverage for Good Samaritan Hospital in East Pierce County, Washington, and the MultiCare Cancer Center. This role offers the opportunity to join a well-established, collaborative plastic surgery group based in West Pierce County while working closely with breast surgeons and other multidisciplinary partners.

Position Highlights

  • Comprehensive Breast Reconstruction: Perform the full spectrum of breast reconstruction procedures, along with a broad range of general plastic surgery services.
  • Microvascular Experience Beneficial: Micro free flap training is advantageous but not required.
  • Multiple Practice Settings: Access to both hospital and an ambulatory surgery center.
  • Integrated Team Structure: Join a larger plastic surgery group located in West Pierce County, benefiting from shared expertise and collaborative practice.

Position Summary

MultiCare Health System is seeking a BC/BE Plastic Surgeon to join our Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery team in Tacoma, Washington. New physicians will be part of an established group building a more robust and comprehensive program. Ideal candidates will be instrumental in ensuring high satisfaction and quality outcomes. Requirements

  • Board certified/eligible at time of employment
  • Licensed in the state of WA by the time of employment
  • DEA, NPI & prescriptive authority
  • Current BLS for Healthcare Providers certification by the American Heart Association

Pay and Benefit Expectations

We provide a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental and retirement benefits and paid time off. As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $732,800.00 - $732,800.00 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education. If this position is associated with a union contract, pay will be reflective of the appropriate step on the pay scale to which the applicant's years of experience align.
