Job description

Process operator performs an array of functions including maintaining, breaking down and setting up equipment and machinery, while troubleshooting and resolving basic to moderate operating issues. Process operator is responsible for processing finished or raw materials, while following Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and communicating effectively with all departments and meeting daily deadlines.

Make boxes in boxing area.
Pack cheese from plastic trays into designated boxes
Clean and sanitize equipment & production area using water, soap, chemicals, etc
Ability to pack boxes at a fast pace.
Ability to manually catch and line up cheese to be hand-wrapped.
Ability to keep up with conveyor speed.
Clean and sanitize all equipment used in processing, the flloors, and the walls in the finish room.
Maintain production and cleaning chart reords.
Follow all safety procedures.
Follow all Good Manufacturing Practices.
Follow all Quality Assurance standards.
Keep work area clean and neat at all time
High School diploma or GED/preferred, or 6 months equivalent experience.
Ability to pack boxes at a fast pace.
Ability to manually catch and line up cheese to be hand-wrapped.
Ability to keep up with conveyor speed.
Follow all safety procedures.
Follow all Good Manufacturing Practices.
Follow all Quality Assurance standards.
