Job description

Milacron is looking for a Manual Lathe Operator to join our team in Norcross, GA.
Work You'll Do:
• Operate manual lathes to perform precision machining operations.
• Turn outside and inside diameters to specified dimensions.
• Machine internal and external threads.
• Read and interpret blueprints to understand machining specifications.
• Use and calibrate measuring instruments such as micrometers and calipers to ensure precision.
• Maintain equipment and perform routine maintenance.
• Ensure the quality of machined parts meets or exceeds specifications.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
• Adhere to the 5S system (Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain).
Qualifications:
• Proven experience as a Manual Lathe Machinist or similar role.
• Strong mathematical skills.
• Proficiency in reading blueprints and technical drawings.
• Experience using micrometers, calipers, and other precision measuring instruments.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good physical condition and stamina.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong commitment to safety and quality standards.
