Job description

Milacron is looking for a Quality Control Specialist to join our team in Norcross, GA.
Work You'll Do:
  • Final and preinspections for screws and barrel
  • Review parts to drawings and note any deviations
  • Stamp parts with serial #'s
  • Maintenance of customer storage racks

Basic Qualifications:
  • Have extensive knowledge of blueprint reading and interpretation
  • Knowledge of and accurate use of basic measuring instruments: calipers, micrometers, thread & plug gages, height gage.
  • Ability to conducts 1st article inspections, final audits, maintain quality assurance inspection database
  • Working knowledge of Excel and Word
  • Complete and maintain quality charts/records for management
  • Communicates directly with team members to resolve quality issues
  • Work primarily independently
  • Operate forklift/combi lift.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Prior experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Associate/Bachelor's degree
