About The Opportunity

Identify needs and requirements of customers and translate them into cost-effective, accurate and tooling-ready designs that are feasible to manufacture.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop commercially viable designs for product offerings, using CAD and other resources.
  • Collaborate with Project Engineers, Customers and Tooling vendors to develop, execute and implement new products from concept to production.
  • Create robust models using sound design practices capable of multiple design changes.
  • Maintain full compliance to ISO quality procedures and processes.
  • Provide technical customer support and assistance.

Education/Certification

Level Required

Creo Parametric Professional Certification or equivalent

Level Desired

Associates in Mechanical Design Technology

Relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of education requirement

Work Experience

Required

  • 2 years of relevant work experience
  • 4 years of applicable technical experience with Creo (ProE)
  • Experience with Product Development in an ISO controlled environment
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products

Desired

  • Design skills in related plastic processes and/or materials
  • Experience with Windchill or other PDM software
  • Experience with SolidWorks, SpaceClaim, KeyShot, or AutoCAD
  • FEA simulation using ANSYS, Creo,or Solidworks.

Travel Requirements

  • Limited travel, ability to travel up to 5% both domestically and internationally to support the business, including overnight stays and extended work hours during work meetings, travel may include weekends.
  • Ability to obtain a passport.
