Position Summary
Tends injection molding machine that heats plastic/resin raw material to form plastic molded products.
Responsibilities
  1. Read and follow posted operator instructions. Remove product from injection molding machine or conveyor belt located at machine and inspect, in some cases assemble, trim, and/or pack product per instructions.
  2. Collect and enter data on appropriate documents such as Day by Hour boards and/or quality sort sheets.
  3. Insert components (ex. limiters) into holding fixture at machine and presses console buttons to activate the molding process.
  4. Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean orderly condition.
  5. Properly label boxes and packs parts.
  6. Support continuous improvement through LEAN and HPT.
  7. Adhere to all safety regulations.
  8. Adhere to all quality standards.
  9. Other duties as assigned.
  10. Overtime as required

Qualifications
1. Must possess High School diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
2. Must be a US Citizen or a US Permanent Resident.
3. 0-2 years of experience required.
4. Prior injection molding manufacturing experience is a plus.
5. Ability to read and follow written or verbal procedures and instructions.
6. Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out simple one- or two- step instruction.
7. Ability to deal with standardized situation with only occasional or no variables.

This position is subject to meeting U.S. export compliance and/or U.S. Government contracting citizenship eligibility requirements.
