Plustech Inc. is the North American Headquarters of SODICK Injection Molding Machinery Division. SODICK injection molding machines have been engineered to be the most precise machines on the market for its Exact Dosing mechanism. We service manufacturers in medical devices, electronics, automotive, industrial, and various high end proprietary applications. We have recently expanded and moved to newly built Tech Center and Showroom in Elk Grove Village, IL for our growing business.
Opportunity:
We're searching for today's best Injection Molding Service Engineer to join our company as a Field Technical Support Engineer. Our business is expanding in the value-added plastic market such as medical, electronics, and automotive. We have an immediate career opportunity available for a highly qualified candidate. Key Duties and Responsibilities
  • Installation and Reparation of injection molding machines at customers site throughout the US
  • Staging machinery at our Technical Center
  • Molding process development and optimization
  • Technical support & troubleshooting at customer sites, by phone, via email
  • Maintenance of job record using our CRM
  • Management of frequent overnight travel

Skills and Qualifications:
  • Degree in Mechatronics BS in Mechanical or Electrical or Polymer Science/Plastics Technology or Equivalent Experience are required
  • 3+ years at an injection molding machinery company or plastic injection molding company as a service engineer with proven success are preferred
  • Various electrical, hydraulic, mechanical repair experience is preferred.
  • Mold set-up, process development, and deep-down controller optimization experience are plus.
  • Other skills & abilities: Excellent customer interface and communication skills. Must be team player with ability to prioritize and work under pressure in a fast- paced environment. Must be available to travel on short notice.

Compensation and Benefits:
The estimated base pay for the position is typically between $28.85 - $33.66
The actual base pay for the position may be influenced by factors such as education, training skills, qualifications, competencies, years of experience, job-related knowledge, and scope of the role, and could be outside of the posted pay range.
In addition to base pay, Yamazen Inc. provides a competitive compensation package including salary, business allowance and semi-annual bonus opportunities.
