Adecco Healthcare & Life Sciences is hiring a Molding Technician for our Medical Device partner in Salt Lake City, UT.

The anticipated hourly wage for this position is between $19.00 and $24.00 per hour. Hourly wage may depend upon experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Molding Technician to join a growing medical device manufacturing team. In this role, you will operate and monitor injection molding equipment used to produce high-quality plastic components for advanced medical devices. Key Responsibilities
  • Operate injection molding machines to manufacture plastic components according to production specifications.

  • Monitor molding processes to ensure consistent quality and efficient production output.

  • Inspect molded components for defects and verify compliance with established quality standards.

  • Identify and report production issues, defects, or equipment concerns to supervisors.

  • Perform de-flashing, trimming, and finishing of molded parts as required.

  • Utilize hand tools and basic power tools for production tasks, minor adjustments, and routine maintenance activities.

  • Follow technical work instructions, manufacturing procedures, and safety protocols.

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

  • Participate in cross-training opportunities and support additional manufacturing operations as needed.

  • Accurately document production activities and quality inspections.

QualificationsRequired Qualifications
  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.

  • Ability to read and comprehend technical work instructions and safety procedures.

  • Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn manufacturing processes.

  • Ability to use basic hand and power tools, including screwdrivers, pliers, and cordless drills.

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Willingness to learn new skills and participate in on-the-job cross-training.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Minimum of 1 year of injection molding and/or manufacturing experience.

  • Experience working in a production, assembly, plastics, or medical device manufacturing environment.

  • Familiarity with quality inspection procedures and manufacturing best practices.

Pay Details: $19.00 to $24.00 per hour
