What You’ll DoProduction & Equipment Operation
  • Operate, monitor, and adjust injection molding equipment to meet production goals and quality standards.
  • Complete changeovers and start-ups; perform basic troubleshooting to stabilize the process.
  • Review machine performance and operating conditions with the previous shift.
  • Keep equipment running efficiently to consistently deliver quality parts.
  • Perform routine adjustments and preventative maintenance activities.
  • Promptly report equipment concerns, mechanical issues, or maintenance needs.
Quality Assurance
  • Conduct inspections and checks to confirm parts meet specifications.
  • Document machine adjustments, process changes, and quality issues.
  • Identify defects and production concerns and take corrective action.
  • Follow all quality procedures and work instructions.
Material Handling & Housekeeping
  • Monitor and maintain required levels of raw materials.
  • Keep machines and work areas clean, organized, and free of debris.
  • Adhere to housekeeping standards and plant cleanliness requirements.
Safety
  • Follow company safety policies and procedures and wear required PPE.
  • Maintain a safe work environment and report concerns immediately.
  • Participate in safety initiatives and training.
Additional Responsibilities
  • Work to plant job specifications and task requirements.
  • Support overtime, plant shutdowns, and special projects as needed.
  • Attend meetings and training sessions as required.
  • Take on additional duties as assigned.
Food Safety & Quality
  • Monitor and verify activities to ensure products meet food safety and quality requirements.
  • Follow all company food safety, GMP, and quality assurance procedures.
  • Restore product contact surfaces to sanitary condition after maintenance or production activities.
  • Accurately complete all required food safety and quality documentation.
  • Immediately report any food safety, quality, or process concerns to supervision.

You will be responsible for food safety, food quality, and site safety.

What You Bring
  • High School Diploma or GED preferred.
  • 1–2 years in manufacturing, machine operation, or production preferred.
  • Mechanical aptitude with basic troubleshooting skills.
  • Comfort working independently and collaboratively.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Ability to read and follow written instructions, procedures, and production specifications.
Preferred Background
  • Experience in plastics manufacturing and/or the packaging industry.
  • Hands-on experience with machine set-ups and changeovers.
  • Success in a fast-paced production environment.
Physical Requirements
  • Frequently lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
  • Stand and walk on concrete floors for extended periods.
  • Bend, stoop, twist, reach, push, and pull throughout the shift.
  • Use hands to handle equipment, tools, and materials.
  • Ability to work a 12-hour shift schedule.
  • Close vision required for inspections and quality checks.
Work Environment

You’ll work in a manufacturing setting with:

  • Moderate to high noise (hearing protection required).
  • Typical temperature variations for manufacturing facilities.
  • Exposure to plastics manufacturing processes.
