Injection Mold PM and Repair Person

Job Title: Injection Mold PM and Repair Tech

Location: Jacksonville, AR on-site

Compensation: $26 -$29 / hr DOE

Day Shift & OT opporunity

Requirements: HS Diploma or equivalent, Technical Degree or Machinist training or work experience preferred, Experience with Injection Mold or Mold repair highly preferred, Hands-on work experience with Toolroom equipment, Precision Measurement equipment

Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Injection Mold Preventative Maintenance and Repair Person to ensure the efficient operation and maintenance of injection molding machinery and support large plastic injection molds. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing repairs, conducting preventative maintenance, and optimizing processes to achieve high-quality production standards. If you don't have experience in mold repair, but have a strong mechanical aptitude, and experience in machining plastics, tooling and-or tool room hands on work, my client will train


Key Responsibilities

  • Preventative Maintenance and Repair of Large Injection Molds and related machinery
  • Troubleshoot Tooling, Wiring, hydraulic and cooling systems
  • Organize and track mold repair components and spare parts
  • Coordinate specialized components with OEM Mold Builders
  • Assist with Mold Changes as needed
  • Maintain a clean, safe, tool room environment

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in injection mold repair and preventative maintenance 
  • Strong knowledge of injection molding processes and machinery.
  • Familiarity with project management methodologies is a plus.
  • Experience with quality control practices and process optimization is desirable.
  • Proficient in troubleshooting and problem-solving within a manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting and communicate effectively.
  • Experience with precision measurement tools such as calipers and micrometers is a plus.
  • Knowledge of hydraulic systems, cooling systems, and tooling is beneficial.
  • Familiarity with tool room operations, including grinders, lathes, and mills, is an advantage.
