Job description

Job Title: Operator for Assembly and Injection Molding

Department: Strut/Plastic/Yoke/Reduction gear

Exempt/Nonexempt: Nonexempt

Working Status: Fulltime

Position Purpose:

Operate the assembly, injection machines and post process operations to produce, measure, inspect, and pack according to the operation standards of each specified part. To produce a quality product, while meeting customer shipping requirements. This position description is not meant to be all inclusive of any job function. Subject to change at any time based on the organizational needs.

Essential job functions: (Task, duties and responsibilities most important to the Job)

  1. Perform injection molding operation or assembly machine operation, post process operations, measuring, inspection, packing, and troubleshooting to ensure company and customer of defect free product.

  2. Proactively participate in Kaizen activities to improve Safety, Quality, Cost and on time delivery.

  3. Report to the immediate Manager, Supervisor, or Team Leader any problems related to safety, quality, personnel, or production.

  4. Daily preventive maintenance and inspection to make sure all department equipment is in a safe and efficient operating condition.

  5. Daily communication with all support departments in order to adhere to all company processes and procedures.

Other Duties:

  1. Safety first. To respect the culture of Safety First, to make a safe working environment.

  2. Comply with all safety policies and procedures especially for machine operation and the use of PPE.

  3. Selection of nonconforming product when required by management.

  4. Daily 5S at shift end.

  5. Any process necessary for the daily operation of the company.

  6. Any other related duties assigned by management.

  1. Forklift, Electrical or non electrical material handling equipment,

  2. Assembly Machines

  3. Injection Machines.

  4. Humidity Machines.

  5. Annealing Machines.

  6. Lathes

  7. Inspection Machines

  8. Various Measuring Instruments.

  9. Scanner

  10. All other equipment necessary for daily operation.

Working Conditions:

Daily work operations will take place in the department. .
