The Position Versatile Mold and Design is looking for qualified, motivated individuals to join our company as Manufacturing Molding Operators. As part of our team, you will operate plastic injection molding equipment or clean product to a finish goods quality product level. The ideal candidate will have good problem solving and communication skills.

There are Molding Operator position on both 1st and 2nd Shift (1st Shift Hours 6AM thru 2:30PM Monday Through Friday) (2nd Shift hours are 2:30PM to 1AM Monday through Thursday) Job Description Primary Responsibilities Read and follow work Instructions. Visually scan parts for quality defects. Perform the essential function of the job using acceptable OSHA safety, quality, productivity, and performance standards outlined in plant policies, procedures and applicable work instructions for each job.

Prepare proper documents for scrap and productivity each day. Identify and properly contain scrap and finished product. Maintain a clean work area.

Operate machines as assigned and assist co-workers at other stations as needed. Perform secondary processes if needed. Perform re-work if requested by Molding Manager or his designee.

Other duties as assigned. Job Requirements Education High School diploma or equivalent required 1-2 years of experience with production manufacturing preferred On-the-job training and certification provided. Skills & Relevant Work Experience Basic math skills able to read, write, add and subtract whole numbers.

Must be able to lift up to 40lbs on a regular basis. Requires excellent mobility and use of proper lifting techniques to avoid injury. Legible penmanship.

Communication and interpersonal skills. Preferred Previous knowledge of molding processes. Safety Conscious 5S and Lean Principles a plus EOE M/F/D/V
