Job Title: Plastic Extrusion Technician
Location: Garrettsville, OH (Onsite)
Company: Four Seasons Manufacturing
Shift: 2nd Shift Preferred (Open to 3rd Shift)
Position Summary
Four Seasons Manufacturing is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Plastic Extrusion Technician to join our onsite production team in Garrettsville, Ohio. This role is responsible for setting up, operating, and optimizing plastic extrusion equipment to produce high-quality PVC and flexible PVC products that meet precise specifications and tolerances.
Key Responsibilities
  • Set up and operate plastic extrusion lines, including dies, tooling, and downstream equipment
  • Process materials such as rigid PVC and flexible PVC to meet production requirements
  • Adjust machine settings (temperature, pressure, speed, etc.) to maintain product quality and efficiency
  • Ensure products meet dimensional specifications and tolerance requirements
  • Perform die changes, startups, and shutdowns safely and efficiently
  • Troubleshoot extrusion issues and implement corrective actions
  • Monitor product quality through regular inspections and measurements
  • Document production data, process changes, and quality checks
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment in compliance with safety standards
  • Collaborate with team members, supervisors, and maintenance as needed
Qualifications
  • 2-5 years of experience in plastic extrusion (PVC and/or flexible PVC preferred)
  • Hands-on experience with die setup, changeovers, and process optimization
  • Strong understanding of extrusion processes, materials, and quality control
  • Ability to read and interpret technical specifications and measurements
  • Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
  • Willingness to work 2nd shift (preferred) or 3rd shift
