Job description

Express Employment Professionals has partnered with a growing plastic company in Spring Valley IL in search of an electric sit down forklift operator to join the growing. The ideal candidate would have at least 2-3 years of forklift experience. Weekly Pay! Urgently Hiring!
Pay:
  • $19.00/HR

Schedule:
  • Monday - Friday, 7:00am to 4:30pm, No Weekends!

Job Duties:
  • Operate electric forklifts to safely move raw materials and finished plastic products throughout the facility
  • Load and unload trucks, ensuring proper stacking, labeling, and secure placement of pallets
  • Supply production lines with needed materials such as resin, packaging, and components
  • Transport completed products from manufacturing areas to storage or shipping zones
  • Perform daily forklift inspections and report mechanical or safety issues
  • Maintain accurate inventory through scanning, tracking, and assisting with cycle counts
  • Organize warehouse space using FIFO methods to ensure proper stock rotation
  • Follow all OSHA and company safety guidelines while working in tight or high-traffic areas
  • Charge and maintain forklift batteries, including safe handling during charging procedures
  • Assist with general warehouse duties such as cleanup, staging orders, and supporting shipping/receiving operations
