Job Overview:
 
Pay Range: $57.28hr - $62.28hr
  • We are seeking a motivated full-time temporary (1 year) employee to work as a member of our Cell Line Development (CLD) team within Biopharmaceutics R&D.
  • Research will focus on optimizing and streamlining innovative process methodologies used in generating recombinant CHO cell line platforms.
  • Responsibilities will consist of performing CLD activities including molecular cloning (plasmid/vector construction), CHO cell culture (stable transfections, pool/clone generation), and flow cytometry.
  • Additional responsibilities include performing good documentation practices, managing work assignments, analyzing and interpreting data and conducting necessary troubleshooting (consulting with supervisor as needed).
Basic Skills:
  • Experience with molecular biology techniques (e.g. molecular/vector cloning, DNA gel electrophoresis, plasmid preparations).
  • Experience in mammalian/CHO cell culture practices.
Preferred Skills:
  • Experience in flow cytometry (FACS) techniques.
Education:
  • BS degree in Science with 1-3 years or MS degree in Science with 0-2 years of relevant experience.
