Building on this legacy, we operate a plasma collection center in Houston, TX, which opened in September 2024. As a leading U.S. provider, we are FDA licensed and certified by PPTA and CLIA, utilizing advanced automated technology. We are committed to impacting global healthcare and saving lives through the collection of rare donor human plasma.
About the Role: We are seeking a skilled professional to fill the key role of Processing Technician. The Processing Technician plays a critical role in plasma processing by ensuring proper handling, processing, and storage of collected plasma products and samples. Responsibilities include he timely processing of the collected product, ensuring proper storage in designated areas, and carefully packing and shipping products and samples. Ideal candidates will excel in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, demonstrating excellent technical skills, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to following established protocols and safety guidelines. Integrity and the ability to work in a team setting are essential. This position report to the Center Manager.
Responsibilities:
  • Perform product processing procedures in accordance with standard operating procedures (SOPs) and regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure timely processing of collected plasma, managing one unit at a time during initial processing.
  • Store product in the appropriate storage areas as indicated by SOPs.
  • Perform product packing, maintaining strict adherence to time and temperature requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with infection control and safety protocols throughout the process.

  • Physical Capabilities: Comfortable working around whole blood, blood plasma, and bio-waste.
