Kamada Plasma is a wholly owned subsidiary of , and specializes in collecting plasma for the production of critical therapies. Your Day as a Part-time Phlebotomist
Kamada Plasma is seeking a skilled Phlebotomist to join our dedicated team, specializing in plasma collection procedures that prioritize safety, accuracy, and efficiency. Reporting directly to the Center Manager, you will play a crucial role in collecting plasma from donors while ensuring meticulous handling and documentation. This position requires someone with excellent technical skills and a keen attention to detail, as adherence to established protocols and safety guidelines is essential. In addition to your technical responsibilities, you will also be instrumental in creating and maintaining a positive and professional experience for our donors, reflecting our commitment to excellence and donor focus in the plasma industry. Would You Be a Great Phlebotomist?
The ideal candidate will be proficient in performing the following key responsibilities:
  • Perform plasma collection procedures with precision, expertly greeting and preparing donors, conducting thorough screenings, and accurately recording all information to ensure an impactful collection process.
  • Champion safety and quality by meticulously adhering to infection control protocols, skillfully collecting plasma with apheresis equipment in a sterile environment, vigilantly monitoring donors for reactions, and ensuring proper labeling and storage of samples.
  • Contribute to a collaborative team environment by maintaining a pristine work area, supporting exceptional donor care, staying updated on industry best practices, actively participating in training, upholding all quality and compliance standards, and rigorously maintaining donor confidentiality and privacy.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent. Phlebotomy certification preferred.
  • 1+ year plasma phlebotomy experience.
  • Proficiency in phlebotomy techniques and aseptic procedures.
