Job Responsibilities
  • Operate manufacturing equipment safely and efficiently
  • Set up and operate machines according to work instructions (experience dependent)
  • Read blueprints, drawings, work orders, and production schedules
  • Inspect finished products to ensure quality standards are met
  • Use precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, tape measures, and gauges
  • Load and unload materials into machines
  • Perform routine machine adjustments and minor troubleshooting
  • Maintain accurate production records
  • Keep work areas clean and organized using 5S principles
  • Follow OSHA regulations and all company safety policies
  • Work efficiently to meet daily production goals
Qualifications
  • Previous machine operating experience preferred
  • Manufacturing or industrial experience required
  • Ability to read measuring tools and perform basic math
  • Blueprint reading is a plus
  • Strong mechanical aptitude
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Dependable attendance and punctuality
  • Ability to work independently and within a team environment
  • Overtime may be required depending on production needs
Physical Requirements
  • Lift up to 50 pounds
  • Stand, walk, bend, kneel, and reach throughout the shift
  • Ability to work in a manufacturing environment
  • Comfortable working around industrial machinery
