Job Title: Truck Fabricator Technician
Reports to: Fabricator Team Leader / Director of Operations
Department: Operations
Job Summary: Responsible for custom fabrication of customer's trucks.
Supervisory Responsibilities: None
Duties/Responsibilities:
Support daily functions including, but not limited to:
  • Support all daily functions of the shop
  • Fabricate, modify, and install truck bodies and equipment to chassis
  • Utilize tools such as:
  • Torches
  • Plasma cutters
  • Shears
  • Punch presses
  • Drill press
  • Metal cutting saws
  • Fabricate parts as needed
  • Weld ferrous and nonferrous metals using MIG or Arc (electrode) techniques
  • Other duties as assigned to meet the ongoing needs of the organization

Required Skills/Abilities:
  • General comprehension of, and experience in, the truck build up process
  • General understanding of truck components
  • Experience with Welding/Fabrication
  • Ability to work alone with minimal or no supervision
  • Working knowledge of basic office software (such as Microsoft Office)
  • Working knowledge of company software and procedures
  • Great attitude and ability to work with others
  • Good communication skills, written and verbal
  • Attention to detail and good organizational skills

Education and Experience:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Current regular driver's license to move our vehicles
  • Forklift operator certification
  • Overhead crane operator certification
