We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Plasma Table Operator to join our manufacturing team. This role is responsible for setting up and operating CNC plasma cutting machines to produce high-quality metal components according to specifications. The ideal candidate has experience with fabrication processes, understands blueprints, and is committed to safety and precision.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Set up and operate CNC plasma cutting tables to cut metal parts accurately and efficiently
  • Read and interpret blueprints, CAD drawings, and work orders
  • Load raw materials (steel, aluminum, or stainless) onto cutting tables
  • Select appropriate cutting parameters (amperage, speed, gas type)
  • Monitor machine operations to ensure quality and adherence to specifications
  • Inspect finished parts using measuring tools (tape measure, calipers, squares)
  • Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot minor equipment issues
  • Maintain clean and organized work area (5S standards preferred)
  • Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE
  • Collaborate with production, engineering, and quality teams as needed

Qualifications:

  • 1โ€“3+ years of experience operating CNC plasma or similar cutting equipment preferred
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
