Plasma Center Manager Jobs (NOW HIRING)

• Act as the general manager for a Plasma Collection Center with overall responsibility for center operations
• Manage daily operations, supervision, quality control, and compliance with applicable policies and regulations
• Meet quarterly goals, staffing and labor-efficiency standards, cost-per-liter targets, and quality KPIs
• Create an organizational environment that stimulates workforce morale and productivity
• Manage employees, operations, training, quality goals, and operational changes
• Monitor and evaluate operations; develop and implement process improvements
• Manage headcount and provide staffing projections to regional management
• Direct hiring, work assignments, development, training, discipline, termination, and personnel records
• Provide strategic direction and planning
• Mentor assigned teams, center staff, and other centers
• Oversee donor selection, plasma collection, shipment, and records through the Assistant Manager
• Ensure production employees receive adequate training and perform tasks to company standards
• Maintain inventory and oversee ordering of goods and supplies
• Ensure facility cleanliness and equipment maintenance
• Manage freezers, plasma shipments, equipment failures, and freezer alarms
• Submit accurate daily and weekly reports
• Develop community representation and public relations and marketing campaigns to attract and retain donors
• Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, FDA-approved SOPs, OSHA, CLIA, and cGMP
• Maintain donor selection, plasma collection, and manufacturing records
• Build donor rapport and support long‑term donation and customer satisfaction
• Prepare annual budgets with Divisional/Corporate management and achieve production and quality goals within cost structure
• Control center donor funds and maintain accurate financial records
• Identify regulatory deficiencies and implement corrective action with the Center Quality Manager
• Conduct risk management reviews and investigate unsafe situations and complaints
• Perform center production tasks when needed
• Assume regional management oversight and mentoring duties for select facilities/projects or in the Regional Operations Manager’s absence
• Perform other duties as required

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, preferably in Science, Business, Nursing, Finance, or related field
• Minimum of 3 years of related experience in clinical or general business experience
• Supervisory experience preferred but not required
• Prior management experience, preferably supervising a group of 20 or more employees
• Experience in a medical and/or cGMP regulated environment preferred
• Experience with plasma or whole blood preferred
• Command of leadership, management, presentation, organizational, customer service, interpersonal communication, and computer skills
• Ability to understand, assess and communicate FDA regulations
• Ability to balance multiple competing priorities and ensure proper staffing levels
• Ability to maintain adequate levels of plasma collection and adhere to quality standards
• Ability to control costs and maintain a budget
• Ability to motivate staff to achieve established goals and standards
• Ability to develop positive relationships with donors, center employees, and company employees in different geographical locations
• Developing command of and proficiency in at least one functional area, such as finance, IT, HR, or compliance
• Ability to relocate preferred
• Ability to work in an office and/or laboratory/manufacturing environment
• Ability to work around biological fluids, infectious organisms, electrical equipment, extreme cold, production chemicals, moving machinery, production equipment, and high noise levels
• Ability to use required personal protective equipment, including protective eyewear, garments, and gloves
• Ability to sit frequently for 6–8 hours per day
• Ability to perform repetitive hand movements
• Ability to lift and carry up to 35 lbs
• Ability to frequently drive to site locations and occasionally travel within the United States
• Ability to communicate complex information and listen to spoken information
• Ability to work independently with little guidance
• Ability to plan work schedules to meet goals
• Ability to interact with diverse groups and handle sensitive information
• Ability to obtain consensus on issues
• Ability to apply abstract principles to solve complex conceptual issues

Proficient in budget management, staff development, and fostering positive relationships with donors and employees.
