The Role
Infinium Operations Texas, LLC is seeking a skilled and motivated Plant Maintenance Technician to join our team at our advanced eFuels production facility in Pecos, Texas. In this hands-on role, you will be the backbone of plant reliability—keeping critical mechanical systems running safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.

You will work closely with the Maintenance team, field operators, engineers, and plant leadership to diagnose, repair, and continuously improve plant equipment. If you take pride in your craft, have a drive for reliability, and want to do meaningful work that matters, this is the role for you.

What You’ll Do
As a Plant Maintenance Technician, you will be at the center of plant reliability. Key responsibilities include:
  • Proficient in safe work practices, LOTO procedures, and all applicable safety requirements
  • Perform skilled mechanical maintenance, repairs, and inspections on plant equipment to ensure safe and reliable

  • Execute preventive and corrective maintenance programs, following procedures, diagrams, OEM instructions, and

  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve equipment malfunctions to restore operational and quality performance
  • Identify dimensional and process performance changes through precision instrumentation and measurement
  • Read and interpret technical documents including operating manuals, maintenance procedures, drawings,

  • Perform routine tasks including lubrication, part replacement, and condition-based inspections
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records, equipment readings, investigation findings, and CMMS logs
  • Manage day-to-day maintenance activities including contractor and specialist coordination from end to end
  • Provide feedback on planning effectiveness for corrective and preventive maintenance to drive site reliability

  • Ensure full compliance with EHS, Process Safety, production, and quality requirements at all times
  • Support incident investigations, root cause analysis, and process safety activities
  • Maintain a safe, clean working environment in accordance with all site procedures and regulations
  • Complete all training activities successfully and on time
  • Able and willing to work flexible hours including overtime, callouts, and shift rotations as needed

What We’re Looking For
  • High school diploma required; Trade/Technical degree or apprenticeship in a related field preferred
  • Journeyperson Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) Certificate strongly preferred
  • 3+ years of mechanical maintenance experience in a chemical, refinery, or similar industrial plant environment
  • Ability to interpret drawings, schematics, P&IDs, and diagrams for a variety of equipment types
  • Proficient in safe work practices, LOTO procedures, and all applicable safety requirements
  • Proven troubleshooting and root cause analysis capabilities
  • Strong English verbal and written communication skills; effective team player with cross-functional stakeholder

  • Able to meet on-call requirements including holidays
  • Valid motor vehicle operator’s license and clean driving record required

Physical & Work Environment Requirements
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions in a demanding industrial environment
  • Exposure to industrial settings and hazardous materials; PPE required
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform climbing, walking, stooping, kneeling, and balancing

Schedule: Rotating shifts including days, nights, weekends, and holidays. Flexibility and on-call availability required.
