You as a Supervisor, Plant & Operations will:

  • Plan, coordinate, and supervise daily maintenance activities, including preventive and reactive work
  • Ensure building systems and equipment are maintained in a safe and reliable condition
  • Oversee completion of work orders and service requests in a timely and efficient manner
  • Supervise, schedule, and support operational staff, ensuring appropriate coverage and performance
  • Support hiring, onboarding, training, and performance management of team members
  • Coordinate and oversee external contractors and service providers
  • Respond to tenant/resident service requests professionally and efficiently
  • Maintain common areas, grounds, and exterior elements including cleanliness and seasonal services
  • Assist in budget oversight, cost control, and resource planning
  • Ensure compliance with all safety programs, policies, and regulatory requirements

Is this the right role for you?

  • Minimum 3 years of supervisory experience in facilities maintenance or building operations
  • Technical certification or trade license preferred (e.g., HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Building Operator)
  • Strong knowledge of building systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and life safety systems
  • Experience coordinating contractors and managing service delivery
  • Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment
  • Valid driver's license is considered an asset
  • The salary range for this position is $80,000 - $90,000
