The Plant Controller is the leader of the Plant Finance team. You will be responsible for all aspects of finance, including Financial Analysis, Reporting, Budgeting, Standard Costing, understanding of variance to plan and implementing Operational Controls. You will drive and support the business partnership with plant leadership & regional finance leadership. You will leverage your finance knowledge to communicate to the workforce their ownership of the facility’s financial objectives.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • As a member of the plant management team you are contributing to Finance KPIs for the plant, engaging all stakeholders on reporting, monitoring and adjustments necessary to achieve results.
  • T ake responsibility to drive finance objectives together with the management team.
  • Develop financial plans and set financial policy for the plant.
  • Maintain integrity of all financial records as per US GAAP and/or local jurisdiction requirements.
  • Assess and report on the plant’s financial results, providing analysis and recommendations. Analyze all profitability and operational matrix as per Tenneco standards.
  • Prepare, monitor, and evaluate the plant’s budget and financial forecasts as well as cash management of the plant as it relates to net working capital.
  • Implement all financial controls to safeguard the assets of the company.
  • Drive initiatives aimed at simplifying processes, improving controls, and optimizing operations.
  • Development of the finance team to identify & fill skill or interpersonal gaps needed for individual growth & advancement.
  • Lead continuous improvement efforts to create a more efficient & effective finance team.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in leading finance objectives within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strategic vision and communication skills related to finance objectives.
  • Proven experience pursuing operational excellence within Finance.
  • Ownership, proactive approach.
