Position Summary

TheOperations Manageris responsible forleading end-to-end production operations within the CVG Seats Division in Vonore, TN.

This role oversees multiple production areas and drives operational excellence across safety, quality, delivery, and cost performance.

The position provides direct leadership to front-line supervisors and indirect leadership to a workforce of 200+ hourly employeesin a plant.This role will partner with the other OperationsManagerboth reportingto the Plant Manager.

Key Responsibilities

Lead daily manufacturing operations across all assigned production lines.

Ensure attainment of production schedules and customer delivery requirements.

Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on productivity and waste reduction.

Directly manage Production Supervisors and Team Leaders.

Provide indirect leadership to 200+ hourly employees.

Champion a safety-first culture and ensure OSHA compliance.

Ensure adherence to quality standards and customer specifications.

Lead Lean manufacturing initiatives including 5S and Kaizen.

Collaborate cross-functionallywith Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, and Maintenance.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

10+ years manufacturing experience

3+ yearsproductionoperationsleadership experience(with salaried direct reports)
