You will be responsible for:

  • Unloading biomass fuel from trucks and load fuel into the appropriate hopper
  • Operating and maintaining fuel handling equipment such as chain conveyors, belt conveyors, bag houses, pumps, valves and air compressors
  • Maintaining a safe work environment by using personal protective equipment, participate in safety training, follow safety procedures and adhering to all applicable SDSs
  • Recording data such as pressures, temperatures and flows and perform trend analysis on data
  • Maintaining neat and accurate records, both written and electronic
  • Completing preventative and corrective maintenance items
  • All other duties or responsibilities as assigned

Things you will need:

  • High School diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
  • Previous experience using heavy wheeled equipment, such as skid steers and wheel loaders.
  • Ability to become proficient at operating a front-end loader and bobcat
  • Flexibility to work a rotating shift schedule, planned and unplanned shutdowns and vacation relief
  • Ability to work in adverse conditions such as extreme weather, at heights and confined spaces
  • Ability to obtain a Special Boiler Operatorโ€™s license from the State of Minnesota
