General Responsibilities

The Supply Chain Manager is an individual leader responsible for end-to-end planning activities for an assigned set of product families or brands. This role sits within the Global Planning function and Bausch Health will participate in the overall tactical and operational initiatives that support product commercialization efforts, ongoing demand and supply planning, and inventory management for the portfolio. As an important partner to Business Unit Leaders, the role is key to the success of our organization and will Interface with internal and external partners, local and global to achieve product supply requirements.

Reporting to the Director, Supply Chain, the Supply Chain Manager will lead the Consensus Demand Forecast Process between Supply Chain, Marketing, and other key stakeholders. Using the agreed Consensus Forecast as an input, the Supply Chain Manager will generate feasible supply plans and net requirements. In delivering demand forecasts and supply plans, the Manager will participate in the S&OP meeting process for their Business Units. This role will own KPIs such as forecast accuracy, customer service levels, backorders, and inventory levels.  In addition to the above, the Supply Chain Manager will own the relationship with the supplying manufacturing sites and external CMOs whether directly or indirectly with BIRL.

Key Responsibilities 
   Proactively identify and collaboratively resolve any issues affecting the product availability.
   Organize and run forecast consensus meetings with Marketing, Sales, Finance and other stakeholders with the aim of arriving at a final consensus forecast/demand plan.
   Review the forecast bias, supply risks and inventory at risk with the teams and reassess the supply chain strategy for each product.
   Generate monthly supply/replenishment plans for portfolio of products.
   Collaborate with External Manufacturing and Internal Plant teams directly or indirectly with BIRL on supply risk mitigation.  Collaborate with support groups such as Quality Assurance and Logistics to ensure timely  availability of replenishment orders.
   Optimize the supply chain inventory investment to achieve the balance between inventory and service level to our customers.
   Oversee the analysis of all the Supply Chain KPIs (Forecast accuracy and Bias, Inventory levels - Months on Hand, Service level - BO trend, Obsolescence).
   Contribute to and participate in monthly S&OP.
   Play a key role in New Product Launch and commercialization initiatives.
   Work within Global Planning team as key contributor.
   Ensure strong partnership and end to end alignment with key stakeholders - commercial market intelligence, finance, Logistics, External Manufacturing, Quality.

Education & Experience Requirements

   A bachelor's degree is required. A degree in supply chain or business studies is preferred.

   3-5 years of demand and supply planning experience is required.


Core Competencies 
   1-3 years of experience in pharma industry and GMP environment is preferred
   Knowledge of SAP S4 or Integrated Business Planning (IBP) is a plus
   Excellent facilitation skills, relationship skills, and communication skills
   APICS certification preferred

The range of starting base pay for this role is 95,000- 125,000k. Actual starting pay will be based on a wide range of factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills, experience, qualifications, education and location. Responsabilites generales

Le Chef de la chaine d'approvisionnement sera responsable de la planification complete, de A a Z, pour un portefeuille de produits ou de marques specifiques. Relevant de la fonction de planification globale, ce role impliquera une participation active dans des initiatives tactiques et operationnelles mondiales soutenant les efforts de mise en marche, la planification continue de la demande et de l'offre, ainsi que la gestion des stocks. En tant que partenaire cle des dirigeants des unites d'affaires, ce poste joue un role essentiel dans la reussite de l'organisation et interagit avec des partenaires internes et externes, tant au niveau local que global, pour repondre aux exigences d'approvisionnement en produits.

Sous la direction du Directeur de la chaine d'approvisionnement, le Chef de la chaine d'approvisionnement pilote le processus de prevision de la demande, en collaboration avec les equipes de marketing et d'autres parties prenantes cles. A partir des previsions consensuelles etablies, il elabore des plans d'approvisionnement realistes et definit les besoins nets. Le Chef de la chaine d'approvisionnement participe egalement aux reunions S&OP pour ses unites d'affaires, en suivant des indicateurs de performance cles (KPI) tels que la precision des previsions, le niveau de service a la clientele, les commandes en attente et les niveaux de stock. En outre, il gere les relations avec les sites de production et les CMO externes, qu'ils soient directement ou indirectement lies a BIRL.

Responsabilites principales

  • Identifier de maniere proactive et resoudre, en collaboration, tout probleme affectant la disponibilite des produits.
  • Organiser et animer des reunions de consensus sur les previsions avec le marketing, les ventes, les finances et d'autres parties prenantes afin de parvenir a un accord final sur les previsions et le plan de la demande.
  • Analyser les biais de prevision, les risques d'approvisionnement et les stocks a risque avec les equipes, et reevaluer la strategie de la chaine d'approvisionnement pour chaque produit.
  • Elaborer des plans mensuels d'approvisionnement/reapprovisionnement pour le portefeuille de produits.
  • Collaborer avec les equipes de fabrication externes et les equipes internes des usines, en lien direct ou indirect avec BIRL, afin d'attenuer les risques d'approvisionnement. Travailler en collaboration avec l'assurance qualite et la logistique pour garantir la disponibilite en temps voulu des commandes de reapprovisionnement.
  • Optimiser les investissements dans les stocks pour maintenir l'equilibre entre les niveaux de stock et le service client.
  • Superviser l'analyse de tous les KPIs lies a la chaine d'approvisionnement (precision des previsions, biais, niveaux de stock, niveaux de service, tendance des backorders, obsolescence).
  • Contribuer activement aux reunions S&OP mensuelles.
  • Jouer un role cle dans les initiatives de lancement et de commercialisation de nouveaux produits.
  • Travailler au sein de l'equipe de planification globale en tant que contributeur cle.
  • Assurer un alignement solide de A a Z avec les principales parties prenantes (intelligence d'affaires, finance, logistique, fabrication externe, qualite).

 

Exigences en matiere d'education et d'experience

  • Un baccalaureat est requis, de preference en chaine d'approvisionnement ou en etudes commerciales.
  • 3 a 5 ans d'experience en planification de la demande et de l'offre sont requis.

 

Competences professionnelles

  • 1 a 3 ans d'experience dans l'industrie pharmaceutique et dans un environnement GMP sont un atout.
  • Connaissance de SAP S4 ou Integrated Business Planning (IBP) appreciee.
  • Excellentes competences en facilitation, en gestion des relations et en communication.
  • Une certification APICS est souhaitee.

Remuneration globale

La fourchette salariale de base pour ce poste est de 95,000$ a 125,000 $. Le salaire de depart reel sera determine en fonction de plusieurs facteurs, dont les competences, l'experience, les qualifications, la formation et le lieu.
