Eatonโ€™s ES AMER ARS PDCAD division is currently seeking a Engineering Supervisor. This position is ONSITE Monday- Friday 8:00am-5:00pm at our Wilsonville OR Eaton facility.The Engineering Supervisor will manage and direct the Customer Order Engineering (COE) team for the Wilsonville Portland Power Center. Serve as the senior technical resource for the department, providing direct order engineering support and technical oversight. Responsibilities include engineering designs, providing direction to application engineers and designers, supporting troubleshooting in manufacturing, and collaborating with Eaton's sales force, project management teams, and direct customers. The Engineering Supervisor works closely with customers, sales, engineering, and operations to identify and deliver solutions to specific technical problems, and reports directly to the Engineering and Commercial ManagerThe expected annual salary range for this role is $97000 - $143000 a year. This position is also eligible for a variable incentive program.Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.What youโ€™ll do:In this role:Manage and coordinate the COE engineers and assigned technicians to drive schedule attainment, productivity goals, and manufacturing requirements across the assigned product line.Serve as the senior technical resource for the engineering team; provide engineering designs, technical direction, and quality oversight for all customer order engineering activities.Provide technical and application assistance to plant support functions, field sales, and customers as needed; assist the sales team in obtaining orders and supporting solution development for unique or non-standard applications.Lead, train, and develop engineers and technicians; communicate and manage required development plans and performance goals utilizing the performance management process.Drive improvements in engineering performance through continuous improvement of systems, processes, and tools; champion a culture of quality and operational excellence.Manage large, complex customer projects to completion within established deadlines with minimal supervision, ensuring deliverables meet customer requirements and manufacturing schedules.Oversee engineering responsibilities of loading based on projected availability of materials and labor to optimize KPIs associated with Quality, On-Time Delivery, Productivity, and Inventory.Collaborate with product applications engineer, engineering, and operations teams to identify and implement solutions to specific technical problems and warranty issues.Consult on the installation of products at customer sites as appropriate; coordinate product warranties and continuing service functions in partnership with the MOL and Project Manager.Develop and maintain comprehensive technical expertise in the assigned product line portfolio, including applicable codes and standards (ANSI, IEEE, NEMA, NEC, UL) and competitor capabilities.Support customer visits and inspections at the Wilsonville facility and ensure engineering team alignment with plant safety, quality, and operational standards.Ensure training, instruction, and guidance is provided to employees in a timely manner and aligned with both strategic initiatives and product knowledge requirements.Qualifications:Basic REQUIRED Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an accredited institutionMinimum of 3 years of experience with Electrical manufacturing/operations capacities.Prior experience providing technical direction or leadership to a team of engineers or technicians.No relocation benefit is offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of Wilsonville, OR will be considered.
