Position Overview

The Sr. Manager Segment FP&A will play a key role within global FP&A processes across all divisions/regions, providing key analyses and recommendations across Segment and Divisions. This role will partner closely with the finance teams across PES to identify and drive efficiency improvement projects for reporting and forecasting, and the enhancement of systems and tools to enable insightful business analysis. The Sr. Manager Segment FP&A will oversee the offshore FP&A team and will collaborate with Divisional FP&A teams. This position requires a "hands on" person who is detail oriented and results driven, executing with a sense of urgency. The individual will have visibility to executive leadership throughout the Company, as well as, exposure to global PES business processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Consolidation and critical review of monthly/quarterly divisional forecasting submission with focus on standard work and improved efficiency/accuracy

  • Lead Segment SG&A forecast process driving cost transparency across key North America functions and focus on cost reduction opportunities; Provide monthly variances to forecast and hold cost centers accountable to results

  • Primary support for Annual Operating Plan and Strategy processes

  • Maintain and improve current standard report structure ensuring timeliness, benefit and accuracy of financial information; Leverage power BI and other tools to improve visual reporting

  • Provide key analyses and recommendations on strategic and other executive projects with ad-hoc reports that enables business assessments at a glance and support strategic decision making.

  • Actively engage and drive project execution to meet Strategic and Operational objectives as part of a project team, supporting with business acumen and both financial and operational analysis and reporting

  • Providing guidance and support across the Segment finance organization on how to improve effectiveness and develop the framework for FP&A that enables standard work, timely and accurate reporting and improved forecasting quality

  • With a continuous improvement mindset and ability to influence, identify opportunities for system enhancements and technology adoption that leverages process automation, machine learning and AI across the finance function and wider organization

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration

  • Minimum of 8 years of relevant and progressive accounting/finance experience within a large manufacturing organization.

  • Excellent communication skills; Effectively Interacts at all levels of the organization with ability to influence resources outside one's direct responsibility.

  • Strong analysis skills to identify high level business and operational trends, with ability to review transactional detail (as needed) to support problem solving.

  • Create a work environment with high standards of performance but where team members feel engaged and supported

  • Motivated by and thrives in a fast-paced environment with ability to assess and effectively rank priorities to allocate resources to highest impact objectives.

  • Proven ability to be hands on, roll up sleeves and demonstrate resourcefulness, initiative, results-orientation. Has a mindset of continuous improvement and can embrace Regal Rexnord's 80/20 principles.

  • Strong working knowledge of ERP systems

  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills are required.

  • Ability to work across cultures and functions seamlessly.

Preferred Skills and Qualifications

  • Experience with Oracle, SAP, and/or Onstream

  • Advanced degree and/or a CPA is strongly preferred
