Job Description SummaryThe AIS ISC Demand Planning Senior Director serves as the enterprise leader for Demand Planning and Integrated Business Planning (IBP), responsible for creating a connected planning environment that links business strategy, market demand, financial commitments, and operational execution across AIS. This role establishes the governance, operating framework, and planning architecture required to align executive decisions to enterprise priorities and business outcomes.
As a key member of the Planning Integrated Supply Chain leadership team, the Senior Director drives enterprise-wide planning effectiveness by ensuring a common view of demand, risks, opportunities, and strategic trade-offs. The role partners closely with Commercial, Finance, Operations, Product Management, and Supply Chain leaders to improve forecast accuracy, increase organizational agility, and enable informed decision-making that balances growth, customer outcomes, profitability, inventory, and cash flow.
This leader will champion the evolution of planning practices, capabilities, and technologies, advancing AIS toward a more predictive, insight-driven, and digitally enabled planning ecosystem.Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Enterprise Demand Planning & Integrated Planning Leadership

  • Define the strategic vision, governance model, and operating framework for Demand Planning and Integrated Business Planning across AIS.

  • Establish enterprise planning principles, standards, and performance expectations that drive consistency, transparency, and accountability across regions, business units, and functions.

  • Ensure alignment of long-range strategic plans, annual operating plans, demand forecasts, and execution priorities through an integrated planning approach.

  • Drive enterprise adoption of planning disciplines that support proactive decision-making and business performance management.

  • Serve as the senior advisor to executive leadership on demand, market trends, planning risks, and business implications.

Executive Business Performance & Decision Support

  • Lead executive planning reviews thatfacilitatetimelydecisions on business priorities, capacity, inventory, investment, and customer commitments.

  • Translate demand, supply, financial, and market signals into actionable insights and strategic recommendations for executive leadership.

  • Develop scenario planning and risk assessment processes that allow leaders to evaluate trade-offs and make informed decisions under uncertainty.

  • Enable greater visibility to business performance drivers and emerging risks through data-based planning intelligence and reporting.

Enterprise Forecasting & Demand Excellence

  • Lead the development of an integrated demand planning strategy that improves forecast quality, responsiveness, and organizational alignment.

  • Drive alignment around a single demand signal by integrating commercial inputs, market intelligence, customer trends, and operational constraints.

  • Establish key performance indicators, governance mechanisms, and management routines that improve planning effectiveness and forecast performance.

  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement through structured analysis of forecast performance, assumptions, and planning outcomes.

Financial & Strategic Alignment

  • Partner closely with Finance leadership to ensure demand plans support revenue, margin, inventory, and cash flowobjectives.

  • Strengthenthe connection between operational plans and financial commitments by improving planning transparency and business accountability.

  • Enable enterprise evaluation of growth opportunities, supply constraints, and investment decisions through integrated scenario analysis.

  • Ensure planning processes support strategic priorities while balancing short-term performance objectives and long-term business goals.

Planning Transformation & Digital Innovation

  • Lead the modernization of planning processes through advanced analytics, automation, artificial intelligence, and digital planning technologies.

  • Establish a multi-year roadmap that advances planning maturity and improves organizational responsiveness to changing market conditions.

  • Drive adoption of predictive insights and enhanced planning tools to improve decision quality and speed.

  • Partner with Digital and Analytics teams to strengthen planning data quality, visibility, and enterprise reporting capabilities.

Cross-Functional Enterprise Leadership

  • Build strong partnerships across Commercial, Operations, Finance, Product Management, Manufacturing, Fulfillment, and Supply Chain organizations.

  • Drive alignment to common assumptions, priorities, and measures of success across the enterprise.

  • Influence leaders at all levels to adopt standardized planning practices and enterprise-first decision making.

  • Foster collaboration across global teams to improve planning integration, performance, and execution.

Talent & Organizational Leadership

  • Lead and develop a high-performing global team responsible for enterprise demand planning and planning excellence.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor's degreerequired; Master's/MBA preferred

  • Demonstrated experience in supply chain, planning, finance, or operations in a global organization

  • Deepexpertisein IBP, S&OE, and integrated planning, with experience building and scaling enterprise capabilities

  • Proven experienceleading and developing global teams, including leaders of leaders, with accountability for performance, capability building, and scaling organizational effectiveness across regions and functions

  • Proven experience leading enterprise transformation initiatives, including systems, analytics, and process standardization

  • Demonstrated ability to influence executive leadership and drive enterprise-wide alignment without direct authority

  • Strong business and financial acumen, with experience linking operational plans to financial outcomes

  • Track recordof improving enterprise performance (OTD, inventory, forecast accuracy, working capital) through capability building

  • Experience embedding Lean, governance, and operating disciplines at scale

  • Healthcare or regulated industry experience preferred

It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the pay range and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including skills, qualifications, experience and location. In addition, this position may also be eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI).
