Respiratory Care Practitioner – ICU/CICU Float (Spokane, WA)

This role offers exposure to advanced respiratory care, complex ventilatory support, and collaboration with multidisciplinary clinical teams in a mission-driven environment focused on whole-person patient care.

Role overview
Respiratory Care Practitioner responsible for delivering comprehensive respiratory therapy services across ICU and CICU units on a float basis. The role supports physicians and nurses in managing critically ill patients and ensuring safe, effective respiratory interventions.

Responsibilities

  • Provide respiratory care services across ICU and CICU units (float coverage)
  • Operate and manage ventilator support systems and respiratory equipment
  • Perform patient assessments and support diagnostic and treatment planning
  • Assist with airway management, resuscitation, and emergency interventions
  • Deliver oxygen therapy and other respiratory care procedures
  • Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot respiratory care devices
  • Collaborate with physicians and nursing staff on patient care plans
  • Document all patient care activities in accordance with clinical standards

Requirements

  • Education or training meeting eligibility for respiratory care certification/licensure
  • Washington State Respiratory Care Practitioner license (required upon hire)
