Job Summary

(Remanufactured / Combo Build / New Build)

The Pallet Builder is responsible for assembling, rebuilding, and manufacturing pallets according to production requirements and company quality standards. This role performs a variety of fast-paced, hands-on tasks using power tools, hand tools, and production equipment to build or remanufacture pallets safely and efficiently. Success in this position requires strong attention to detail, consistency, and the ability to work in a high-volume warehouse environment while meeting or exceeding daily production goals.

What You’ll Be Doing

As a Pallet Builder, your responsibilities include:

  • Building, assembling, and remanufacturing pallets according to required specifications
  • Using nail guns, saws, pry bars, hammers, and other hand/power tools to complete pallet builds
  • Meeting or exceeding daily production targets while maintaining quality standards
  • Inspecting wood components for defects, damage, or inconsistencies before assembly
  • Ensuring proper placement of deck boards, stringers, and braces to meet pallet design requirements
  • Replacing damaged wood pieces and reinforcing pallets as needed
  • Operating machinery and tools safely according to company guidelines
  • Maintaining a clean and organized work area to reduce safety hazards
  • Following all safety rules, PPE requirements, and production procedures
  • Assisting team members and supervisors as needed to support overall production flow
  • Performing other duties as assigned
What We’re Looking For
  • Experience in pallet building, carpentry, construction, or similar work preferred
  • Familiarity with nail guns, saws, and other power tools
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume production environment
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow build instructions
  • Comfort working with repetitive tasks and meeting daily production goals
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred (not required)
Physical Requirements
  • Constant standing and walking throughout the shift
  • Repetitive lifting, pushing, and pulling of up to 75 lbs or more
  • Frequent bending, twisting, reaching, and handling of materials
  • Ability to safely operate tools and machinery in a physically demanding environment
Work Environment
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee will primarily work in a warehouse environment. This may include exposure to dust, fluctuating temperatures (hot and cold), and moderate to high noise levels. Steel-toed boots and other personal protective equipment (PPE) will be required.
